Hakaya Misk is an event dedicated to the art of storytelling in its many forms: written, drawn, animated, and directed. It celebrates the heritage of folktales and aims to revive the oral storytelling tradition. It was shot for the first time in Riyadh in 2016 and reached the Saudi cities of Abha, Tabouk, Jeddah, and Dhahran. In its 2017 version, Hakaya Misk 2 is going beyond Saudi, travelling to other parts of the Gulf countries starting from Abu Dhabi. There are four gateways in Hakaya Misk2. A visitor may enter through writing, painting, animation, or production.
